The long wait for Le Castle Vania‘s new mix is finally over! The newly established Prototype Radio has kicked off their Saturday sessions by keeping it in the ATL family and giving Le Castle Vania control of the airwaves. It’s not the last you’ll be hearing from him on Prototype either, as the mixtape is just the beginning of his new residency at the station. Stay tuned Saturdays at 2AM EST for Prototype, and keep a sharp ear out for Le Castle Vania bringing tons of his own music as well as his favorite artists in.

Radio Control Mix premiered on Clear Channel’s WiLD 105-7 & 96-7 FM in Atlanta just this past weekend during our massive festivites at FUCK YESSS, and has also gone to the other side of the world through Triple J’s Mix Up Radio. But just in case you were too busy partying with us or wherever else in the world to hear the broadcast, he’s dished the mix up for free download through his Facebook page.

Weeeeeee’re back! Always Never’s first release in 2012 is from none other than our own label boss Le Castle Vania, with his new single “The Light”. It’s a whopping dose of high energy disco goodness, taking old disco vibes and putting the Le Castle Vania eerie and exciting electro/disco spin on the track. It’s ready to heat up dance floors wherever you are! We’re really excited about this jam, we’ve been amped on it for a while now and having it shareable with the world is a great feeling. Today, just in time for Thanksgiving, marks the release of our next EP, courtesy of Tel Aviv’s own Split & Jaxta. They have created a unique blend of middle eastern psy-trance and raw electro to create the lead track for their Roulette EP. With haunting choral undertones placed below a ripping distorted bassline, Roulette serves up a platform for four high energy remixes from the likes of Le Castle Vania, Freefire, Neus, and Terravita. Twisting the track into a heavier electro creation are Always Never members Freefire and Le Castle Vania, with Freefire chopping the arrangement up into a whipping dancefloor storm, and Le Castle Vania delivering another unfaltering synth-driven rock-n-roller masterpiece. Terravita brings a dubstep vibe to the mix, and Neus finishes off the EP with a uniquely arranged remix that starts off with a lighter tempo and develops into a shredding drop.

It’s been a few weeks but all of us here at Always Never still have “I lay awake… all night looooooong” stuck in our heads, and for good reason. Our main man behind it all Le Castle Vania released a bonafide scorcher of a tune, and the release of the Remix EP for “Awake” is something we are undeniably proud of putting our name on. There are four very unique and exciting remixes on the EP, ranging in genres but all bringing the heat. The first two are electro-based remixes from the likes of South Central and Freefire. South Central’s chopped and warped version lights up the floor, and Freefire’s progression and additional vocal samples gives us an additional helping of excitement for an Always Never upcoming release from the UK duo. J. Rabbit, who is no stranger to the Always Never name (check out his past remix for Chubby Decker here) killed it yet again with his wobbly-dubstep take on the track. And last, but most certainly not least, our good friends and drum-n-bass kings Evol Intent provided us with exactly what they’re good at: a drum-n-bass remix that simultaneously blows us away and leaves us asking for more.

The long-awaited release of our very own label baron Le Castle Vania‘s new single “Awake” is here! We’re sure many of you have been itching for it since hearing it in his Bulletproof Tiger Volume 2 mixtape or chanting “all niiiight looooooooong” as you walked out from one of his shows, but now your wait is over! It’s a massive track and every second and chord progression shows the electro-don’s mastery of the craft. Regardless of whether you’re blasting it in your car or jumping around to it along with the man himself on the recently-embarked Identity Tour, you’re sure to be humming along to it for a long time to come.

Make sure you stay Awake (pun intended) for the next release on Always Never, which will be the remix EP for Awake. It’s got a killer selection of remixes: drum n bass with Evol Intent, another dubstep heater with J.Rabbit, and two electro versions with Freefire, and South Central.
